18th APECA Biennial Conference-Workshop

Dear Sir/Madam,

APECA was formed in 1976 in Manila, Philippines, when 40 counselors from 9 Asian countries gathered together at De La Salle University to deliberate on the future of counseling in Asia. From these 40 Charter Members, APECA has now grown to over 300 registered members from different countries. Since its inception, APECA Biennial Conference -Workshops are regularly held, with the site rotating among the countries from which it draws it membership. To date, 17 APECA Biennial Conference Workshops have been held.

USM is hosting the 18th APECA Biennial Conference Workshop on 05-07 August 2010 in Hotel Royal Penang, Malaysia. I would like to invite your organization to send your members to participate in our conference. If your organization is able confirm at least 10 participants to register, we will put your organization as an affiliate to the conference after receiving the full registration payment of the 10 participants.

APECA continues to help its members grow as counselors, and strengthens the practice of the profession. It has survived and remained solvent with very little funding support due to the commitment of its members.
